ANNOUNCING THE 2011-2012 SEASON!

Calico Jack and the rest of his crew kick off the new season in September with an all-new story about the mysterious puppeteer of Orphan Island (details coming soon on the Seven Deadly Seas webpage). Then, in October, Cabaret Red Light presents an all-new musical about the obscenity trials of Mae West, Looking Pretty and Saying Cute Things, starring the wonderful Jess Conda (see below). The season also includes Cabaret Red Light's NUTCRACKER at Painted Bride Art Center (December 8-11) and LUST! a musical extravaganza in the garden of earthly delights (Easter weekend 2012).

Mae West (Jess Conda) is looking pretty and saying cute things in the new production by Cabaret Red Light.

BEFORE MARILYN & MADONNA

Take one puritanical court room, add shimmies to taste & top generously with muscle boys. Cabaret Red Light's new musical is all about the early days of Hollywood, jazz, and the queen of scandal, Mae West! Looking Pretty and Saying Cute Things premieres at the Adrienne Theater Skybox on Thursday, October 6.

NEXT MONTH AT PENN'S LANDING

On July 14-17, the somewhat true story of the Pirates of Ponzi continues aboard Gazela with a tale of intrigue, whitewashery and, well, a much better business model. Come see the all-new musical The Seven Deadly Seas: Press Gang Privateers!
